Ed.V.R.iii.

“Ed.V.R.iii.” is a visual retelling of Edward V’s failed coronation and Richard III’s coup for the English crown. 

The War of the Roses was a bloody civil war in England for the control of the English throne. In 1483, after the death of King Edward IV, Richard III kidnapped and imprisoned his 12-year old nephew and uncrowned king Edward V. Even though Edward V held no real power and was a figurehead for Richard III’s opposers, he disappeared from view a few weeks after Richard III’s coronation and was likely killed on his orders.
