up and over the hill goes down again

It is not easy being an artist, especially when you're starting out. You work mainly for yourself, and have to believe in yourself at all times. It is when someone takes a chance on you and gives you an opportunity, that getting out of bed has an extra motivation to it.

During these times, it is especially hard on us. Our projects are cancelled or postponed, we have little to look forward to in concrete plans, opportunities are slumbering and we can easily get stuck. No income, no plans, a hard future ahead.

I would like to thank the entire Broeiplaats team for their opportunity. It gave me so much motivation and inspiration, freedom to create again with a plan in mind. Ideas flutter down, works get stuck in the studio or on the computer, but they gave me complete freedom to envelop their digital space.

I would also like to thank Sandra Meilunaite, Ives Coppens and Leslie Pevenage for putting up with my complaints and sticking with me while they are stuck with me inside.

I don't think that's really an easy thing to do.

And I would like to thank all the viewers for taking their time through this experience.

Thank you.
