After the first experiments with abstract painting, I made a painting where I combined several different techniques that interested me into a “tabula inscripta” where I stopped the painting when I felt the “canvas was complete”.
A very process-driven way of working resulted into an expressive-looking painting containing a lot of elements that I wanted to explore further. Important elements in the painting were the use of laquer paint, the use of screen-printing squeegees and working in layers which are later brought back to the surface.
