Collapsing Space in Progress of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow
In this series, I build an image using the classic and outdated concept of the three main colours red, yellow and blue until a brownish layer formed which was a mix of all three colours. I immediately wanted to scrape away that layer, and by doing so the underlying layers carefully reemerged and formed a pure image which was made by equally myself, the process and the image. By doing so, the gap between the mental intent and the final image was bridged without having to give into the “unknown” of the process.
